There was no jumper on the card that disables the esata port, the port was just defective. It just sits there and nothing happens. Thanks for the help. Also, make sure, the boot sequence in Bios is set to boot from your OS HDD at first, and exclude the controller from the boot sequence for now. Another issue that users may have been experiencing is which ports are active -i. Once Vista boots up, the keyboard works fine. Both drives are listed during POST of the controller.
